Fairness

The companies in the ROTHENBERGER Group stand for honest, fair and trusting business relationships. We are convinced that business can only be successful if all parties involved are satisfied in the long term.

Ethical principles and negotiating on an equal footing have formed the basis of our daily actions since the family business was founded. We expect everyone who works at ROTHENBERGER and for ROTHENBERGER to make their decisions on this basis. Every day and all over the world.

The ROTHENBERGER Group and all its employees are committed to law-abiding and fair behaviour. Everyone who works for ROTHENBERGER has signed a Code of Conduct and received online training on this topic and agrees to comply with all rules that ensure law-abiding and fair behaviour. Our Code of Conduct is supplemented by further, detailed internal guidelines and the country-specific requirements and legal bases.

Fair business practices

We also expect fair and transparent behaviour from our cooperation partners, service providers and suppliers. We have formulated what we mean by this in our Supplier Code of Conduct. By signing this document, our business partners undertake to act responsibly. The basic principles of our code of honour are based on these guidelines and standards:

  • 10 principles of the UN Global Compact
  • UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women
  • OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises
  • ILO core labour standards

Production in Europe

The companies in the ROTHENBERGER Group produce the majority of their products in-house within Europe, and the majority of their suppliers are also based in Europe. 70 per cent of the pipe tools and machines from ROTHENBERGER Werkzeuge are manufactured using state-of-the-art production facilities by highly trained skilled workers at the production site at the company headquarters in Kelkheim and at the subsidiary near Bilbao in Spain: Quality made in Europe.
